Excel Macro Edit Code Help

What the code above does is that it goes through the ID in Column A - Sheet 3 and then it paste the matching Item number with the ID's in Column B - Sheet 4. See the attached workbook [SampleWorkbook (1).xlsm]


I would like to apply the same condition on the another workbook, see attached [SWG_2.xlsx]. So for this, the ID is on Column B - Sheet 1, and then the Item number needs to be pasted on Column P - Sheet 2. Please help, thank you

Otherwise explain better your goal for a new code

I have spent over 3 days on the same thread with you. You keep coming with different request every time I came up with a solution. With hind, you would have been better off with a formula so you can easily amended it yourself. You also keep changing your data. I am at loss what are you trying to do. I do think you are using the code as learning purpose, not to find a solution for a particular task. Now, if I look at the attached output, you have ID with 4 digits numbers, and numbers which do not relate to ID no on both sheets. For e.g., you have 64 as output, but you ID nos are only up to 20.
Based on the attached, this should do, but would not hold my breath as you may came with different data.

it's only repeating the ID and not pasting the values that is on the item number

You have ID nos and Item on both sheets. Where are the numbers on the output column P came from?

You have sheet called "What it shld look like". You have numbers in column P which I suspect are your desired output. If this is not, you need to explain what do you want to do.

Initially there are no numbers on Column P, i just left it there so you could see the output - which is not what i was looking for exactly cause what i would like to happen is that it should paste the item numbers that was on Sheet 1 - Column N to Sheet 2 - Column P. I attached it again, i deleted the numbers on column p. The tab "What it shld look like" is showing you how i want the desired output to be.
