Here is my question.
I have multiple excel files in multiple folders. I need to move these files to another folder.
The multiple files I have - example:
Cost Centre Folder
0077 ABC.xls
0088 ABC.xls
0099 ABC.xls
Address Folder
0077 DEF.xls
0088 DEF.xls
0099 DEF.xls
Email Folder
0077 GHI.xls
0088 GHI.xls
0099 GHI.xls
I would then like to have folders bases on the first 4 digits, so:
0077 Folder
0077 ABC.xls
0077 DEF.xls
0077 GHI.xls
0088 Folder
0088 ABC.xls
0088 DEF.xls
0088 GHI.xls
0099 Folder
0099 ABC.xls
0099 DEF.xls
0099 GHI.xls
Can this be achieved using excel? Anyone up for a challenge to help an old man
