    How do i draw out Saturday and Sunday when using time diff

    For example the start date is 21 march (thursday) to 28 march (next thursday). The normal time diff is 7 day . but what I want is the diff is 5 days Saturday and Sunday no included for calculated

    Use the WORKDAY() function in the Analysis Tool pack (http://www.cpearson.com/excel/ATP.htm)

    no need of vba for this - you can use networkdays formula.
    Or if it is in the code, use WorksheetFunction.networkdays

    @cytop the WORKDAYS and NETWORKDAYS ( what OP needs) function are native to XL2010
