    creating new work sheet from data entered in a column

    Absolute Beginner,

    I have attached a spreadsheet showing 3 work sheets.

    Master has all items which could be selected.

    Worksheet 5301 is created after pressing calculate button when a figure is placed in the qty field of a column.
    Master sheet resets to clear fields in Qty column ready for next apartment.

    A macro or option would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers!

    You need to explain some more - how do you arrive at worksheet 5302? Should the numbering of the sheets always start from 5301?

    Thanks for replying I had given up until you replied.

    5301 is the apartment number broken down it means:
    5=lift number
    3=level
    01=apartment number

    Items vary greatly in each apartment.

    Total Apartments 300

    I would like to manually select a number and have the number generated as the new sheet name.
    The master sheet would actually be blank in cell C1 waiting for me to type apartment number.
    Some apartments are also named with letters:
    T11L
    T=Terrace
    11= Number of terrace
    L=Lower

    Please let me know if you need any more info.

    Cheers!

    So which items would go into which sheet? Or would you be entering the values in the 1st sheet, entering the number and then click a button (maybe) which will copy those contents to a new sheet naming it by the value in C1?

    Yes correct, new sheet naming it with the value in C1. Entire Rows which have a value in the Qty column (D3-D59) will be copied across into the new sheet.

    Sorry if I am not explaining this to well?

    Cheers!

    After the copy paste is done, do you want the main sheet to be cleared?
