    Question Dependent Combo Box Problem!

    Hi,

Really sorry if a solution have been previously posted but I wasn't able to find one that I could adapt =(

I have a sheet (see attached)

    Pretty simple

    2 sheets

    Rawdata and Lookuplist

If you press button 1 on lookuplist sheet, it brings up a user form, I was able to populate the first comb box with unique site names, what I have no idea how to do is, make combobox 2, then give you the category options that are available based on the selection in combo box one (site name) and then for combo box 3 the list should depend on what options are selected in 1 and 2.

If anyone knows how I can do this - it would be a massive help!

    I hope that makes sense

    PB

    Re: Dependent Combo Box Problem!

What exactly do you want the 2nd combobox to be populated with?

Each Site Name is only associated with one Content Category, so do you need a combobox?

Should category perhaps come first, before site?
If posting code please use code tags, see here.

    Re: Dependent Combo Box Problem!

This information is only an example (bad on admittedly now that you've pointed that out), the order isn't important but lets assume each site could have multiple content categories.

I want combo box 2 populated with the options that the user can select once they have selected a site.

(Combo box 3 should be creative, which can be selected dependent on site + Category)

I've updated it to show site can have multiple categories.

    Thanks in advance!
