inserting photos and attaching them to cells excel 2007

I designed a standard " defect list" in excel, where the engineers can write down the defects they find on the building site.
the problem is that for each defect a photo must be attached and that can be up to 500 photos.

In excel 2003 I recorded a very basic macro that resized and inserted the photo to the cells. however I had to attach the photos manually to the cells.

But now we are using 2007 and it doesn't work anymore, I googled and got some so called VBA macro things but I cant get the things working.

What I look for is a macro that inserts the photo into the cell, and resizes it (landscape and portrait) and attach the photo to the cell (because when I hide the row I also want the photo to be hidden).
