Problem with excel and sharepoint

Hi all

I am just wondering if anyone would know why I am getting an error trying to open a sharepoint file from an excel macro. The macro works fine when on the local drive but on sharepoint the error occurs

The error I am getting is
run time error 52
bad file name or number

are you using dir() line to open the file?

This is the line that is causing the problem

FileExists = Len(Dir(FullFileName)) > 0
