How to change colours of objects?

I am trying to change the colour of a circle if the criteria isn't met.

Basically if any of the values in the column is > than the setpoint, then the colour of the circle should turn red.

I'm not sure how I can do this... would I be able to do it using conditional formatting? Because I tried that and I was unable to select the circle....

    Thanks a lot!

    CF affects cells not shapes.
In xl2007 and newer you can use CF icons to display a very limited set of shapes.

Or you could use a transparent circle/rectangle shape group placed over a cell with CF.
