    import worksheet and rearrange coulmns

    I want to be able to import a worksheet that has numerous columns and when it opens in the new worksheet specific columns are rearranged within the new worksheet. So, in the origional file I want say columns "R" and "S" inserted after column "B". I would also like to have column "Q" deleted automaticly in the new worksheet. Can someone help me.

    Normally, I would import the data into one worksheet and have a second worksheet reference that data but rearrange as needed. That way, if/when you need to refresh the data, you simply blank out the old and replace it with the new (copied and pasted) and your second worksheet is already how you want it. If you need halp with this, please upload a sample file.

    The alternative would be to use VBA, but that wouldn't be my preferred solution.

    I was hoping that I wouldn't have to do any manual changes but that may be the way to go for now. I'm using this so that I can post some data on a web site with as little manual manipulation as possible.

    I don't follow you. This requires a one-time initial set-up and, from that point on, it's totally automated.
