use dropdown and show another item automatically

Hi all,
i have problem hope master here able to help me, let say have database consist of 2 columns and i create dropdown menu and refer to the first column in that database, and when i choose one of the item in dropdown it will show item in the second column in database. Do you guys know how to code it?thanks in advance
