Create serial numbers based on a single input number.

I am brand new member to the forum (Yes, I read the rules), but have learn a ton from it over the years. Thank you for having me.

I have a question on how to perform a simple task using VBA that I am trying to accomplish in one of my spreadsheets. I won't bore you with every detail in what I am trying to accomplish, but boil it down to the basic concept. I am trying to create a series of number based on a single input value. In other words, if I enter the value "10" in A1, I want 1-10 to show up as values in the cell range B1:B10. If I enter "714" in A1, then I wan the number 1 to show up in B1 and all numbers in between all the way down to B:714, which will contain "714".

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Please inform me if I am in the wrong forum (Easy, I am a rookie) , or have overlooked an identical post.
