Copying a template from one sheet to another

I downloaded an excel template from Microsoft website - http://office.microsoft.com/en-in/te...103987160.aspx

I want this template on sheet2,3,4. How do I do it.

I tried right clicking on sheet, selecting Move or copy and then copy. But the template does not work in the copied sheet.

Also tried regular copy+paste. No luck.

Hi Hityou123,

When you say "does not work" what you actually mean i.e., what your tried which did'nt worked. I tried to copy sheet within a workbook and it worked, see attached.... As this is an xlt hence when you save, it will ask you to Save As.

Dilip,

By "does not work" - I meant when I change the dates in the table, the graph does not change in the copied sheet.
But in your xlsx file, it works in the copied sheet also.

How did you copy?

I just did right click -> move & copy.

and then saved that as xlsx.

I tried in your attachment and its working here, see attached.
just right click on original sheet and choose "move / copy" and check create a copy.
