How do you expect people to help you when you give them so little information to work on?
Upload a small sample file and tell what data you wish to import and convert to labels then you stand a much better chance of getting help.
And by the way as you still have not marked your last thread “Solved” as I asked you to do you are now listed in my black book.

Suggest you visit the Avery web site and download and use their wizard which is made for this
By the way: having your email address as your user name is a *BAD IDEA*, unless . . . you are lonley and don't get enough email and realy see getting SPAM emails as a means to deal with it.![]()
SPAMBOTs troll the web continuously and harvest such easily available email addresses.

Do you know . . . ?

Alf,
Sorry about that. I did go to the top of the previous thread and mark it as 'solved.' Does it not reflect that? I am not 'lonely' and am simply trying to resolve some questions. I also didn't know it was appropriate to simply upload something without someone first offering to assist. I'm not typically in forums to solve these sorts of issues...
I was certain that I marked the other query as solved...most interested that it reflects that. And sorry about not following protocol. I do not care to be on anyone's black list.
Small sample attached.

Ok as thread now is marked "Solved" you are "off the hook".
I've tried to post some links + info but it seems there are problems with the forum at the moment. Will try later.

Regarding your Avery question (not my cup of tea really) I found some links that could be of interest.
A walk-through (quite good) and a macro but labels added to an Excel sheet and only possible to select 4 columns.

Last part
This guy uses word to create labels from an Excel file perhaps the most appropriate for your needs.

What I would do would be to record a macro when doing the first file. Word macros do differ from Excel macros a bit so when you start you get a choice of
"Store Macro in" "All Documents" or "Document1" and I think you should choose the latter.
After having recorded the first macro and done the "Merge" & printing you copy the macro and paste it to another word document. As the macro contains information on which excel file it's linked to you just edit the name to the next file you wish to "Merge"
This info looks like thisDon't know anything more to add only that I'm going to stick to Excel macros in the future!![]()

Ps Seem like problem was too many links at one go in my post.
Thank you, Alf. I will try these and give you some feedback as to which is most expedient and effective! Have a good day.
