Question Use multiple IF to find certain data and group them

    Hi

I'm was wondering how to use multiple IF's to run through some data and giving me the data grouped per criteria afterwards.

I've attached a test file in which everything should become clear on what I want the VBA or normal Excel function to do.

The tab "Original Division" contains the names of some colleagues and the suppliers they have to take care of. Tab "Original Overview" provides a grouped and clearer overview of the workload division.

Tab "Updated Division" provides the revised workload division, keeping in mind that in this example "Manuel" is not in the office. The "Updated overview" should then container the recalculated grouped overview.

Can anyone of you have a look at this and point me in the right direction on how to solve this problem.

    Kind regards,
    Tino XXLPL test.xlsx

    Hi feomavi,

Thanks for your input, but I already thought of that. But it should keep the layout as it is, that's where the problem lies.

    Kind regards,

    Hi
I got this solved by using the pivottable function, copying that data in a new sheet and play around with the layout.

    Regards,
    Tino
