Linking a shape copy to its original

Hi, i recently got some great help with my management dashboard, wich consists of shapes with conditional text and color based on cell values. But now i want to copy the intire shape group without having to link all the shapes to the cells in another sheet or document. Is there a way to just link the copied shape or entire group to the original?

I know im not supposed to up my own post but its been 40 days and i have not been able to figure it out for myself. If what i want is not possible i would also like to know, so i can stop looking and try something else.
