Macro - Subscript out of range error

Hi,

I have a template of records in a spreadsheet (Time tracker automation) which has to be copied and pasted on a daily basis to another spreadsheet (Time Tracker Jan'12). I use the scheduled tasks to open the spreadsheets and run the macro.
During testing the macro had performed well and everything came fine but after mulitple use of the macro this error came up. "Run time error 9 Subscript out of range error '

I am new to excel macro and created a basic one which doesnt imply all rules. please suggest on a better macro scripting with rules if possible

You are getting the error because the file extension is missing.

Based on your last post in this thread, its apparent that you are satisfied with the solution(s) you've received and have solved your question, but you haven't marked your thread as "SOLVED". I will do it for you this time.

In future, to mark your thread as Solved, you can do the following -
Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved.

Incase your issue is not solved, you can undo it as follows -
Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.
