hi friends,
i've got some pdf files and the authors of those files in an excel table. I want to edit the metadata of those pdf files to change the authors of those files to the ones in the excel table.

i tried to initialize acrobat by the following code
Set objACrobatApp = CreateObject("Acroexch.application")
but that gives me a run time 429 error.

I have acrobat 8 installed.
Could some one help me please. I am in desperate need as I have hundreds of pdf files for processing
