Write to attachment before sending as email message

I am using the following code to create an email message with a workbook as an attachment;

What I am trying to do is open the attachment in the background, (without it being visible), put the value of 'strsub' in the cell Q9 on sheet1, then save the attachment with 'strsub' as the last part of the filename, attach it to the email then delete the file.

Posting this at many different forums at the same time will not get it answered quicker for you, people aren't daft!, they're likely to let someone at one of the other forums you've posted in answer it, and if they all think the same then you wont get an answer.

You posted this at my forum at exactly the same time as here, didn't even wait for an answer!
