Hi , I require your assistance in writing a formula for a school report/schedule

FOR A CLEAR PASS(P)

The criteria is as follows for progression ( PASS)into the next grade:

At least 40% in english and mathematics.
At least 30% in afrikaans or zulu (second language)
and at least 40% in four other subjects


TO BE CONDONED (C)

THE LEARNER WILL BE CONDONED IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CASES IF:

Gets 30-39% IN MATHEMATICS
GETS 30-39% in in both the languages
gets 30-39% IN ONLY ONE OF THE FOUR OTHER SUBJECTS (IE GETS 40% AND ABOVE IN THE OTHER THREE SUBJECTS)

This morning, I redirected your thread to to "formulas and functions" section of this forum. I do not think there has been a reply yet. We have lots of experts in formula in this forum, but none has come to your aid yet. Hopefullly, some one will have a go.

If you do not mind, could you please include the formula on the cells as I am still seem to get errors. The formula is a single line, but it appears on two separate lines with tags. If you include it on sheets, one can easily see if there is any error.

Found it when looking through my old posts. The question is rather what made me miss it? I'm as happy to see bold text in my CP as anyone else. I assume I found it, looked at it for .2 seconds before I was interrupted and had to rush away and had a hectic week or two. I suspect this is not the last time this will happen...
