I have various worksheets within my workbook. On sheet 1 I have a cell (H7) which is called "Change Date".
Does anyone know how to change this date when the workbook (any sheet) is edited in any way?

Perhaps you could add a button to update the date?
I'm using something similar. The sheet is updated whenever it is activated:

Thanks - I understand you thoughts about unnecessary macros, however this is going to be used as a record of changes, just in case the user forgets!
