Use of check box for employee schedule

    Hello:

    Please refer to attached sheet.

I want to do employee scheduling using excel.

I would choose the name of the employee from dropdown list in cell A3 and date from dropdown list in cell B3
Then i would use 1 check box for Clockin time from cell Range D3:D16 and 1 check box for Clockout time from cell Range G3:G16.

Now i would need an UPDATE button which will paste the Clockin-Clokout for the selected employee in the corresponding cell Range L3:AP25 in XXXX-YYYY format where XXXX is the value from D3:D16 and YYYY is the value from G3:G16

Also UPDATE button should clear check boxes for the next entry after the XXXX-YYYY is pasted.

Please let me know if any questions.

    Thank you

    Riz

    Hello:

I am changing the format little bit so please ignore previous requirement.

    Please refer to attached sheet.

I want to do employee scheduling using excel.

I would choose the name of the employee from dropdown list in cell A3 and date from dropdown list in cell B3 in MonthlySch Sheet.
Then i would use 1 check box for Clockin time from cell Range D3:D16 and 1 check box for Clockout time from cell Range G3:G16.

Now i would need an UPDATE button which will paste the Clockin-Clokout for the selected employee in the corresponding cell Range K:AG in XXXX-YYYY format where XXXX is the value from D3:D16 and YYYY is the value from G3:G16

Also UPDATE button should clear check boxes for the next entry after the XXXX-YYYY is pasted.

Please let me know if any questions.

    Thank you

Re: Use of check box for employee schedule

    Hi watersev:

Works great, except when we update, the checkbox in column G does not reset.
Would also need to make sure that only 1 check box would be allowed in Column D & G.

Also, next step i need is to populate this data in Weekly_Sch Sheet, probably by formula.
Please refer to the same updated attached file.
Please let me know if any questions.

    Thank you
