Automatic shifting of cells to different columns

    Hi there,

I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem I've been having.

I have a spreadsheet with several columns of text and I was wondering if there was a way of automatically shifting cells from the top of one column to the bottom of the next column. I've tried to illustrate what I mean below if I'm being unclear. So for instance if I decided to delete Portugal all the cells would move up one place and Ireland would move from the top of column B to the bottom on column A and Cuba from the top of C to the bottom of B and so on.

My spreadsheet is much more extensive so doing it manually would take forever!

    Thanks a lot!

A jpg does not help at all. It will be good if you attach a sample excel file.

    To Attach a File:

    1. Click on Go Advanced
    2. In the frame Attach Files you will see the button Manage Attachments
    3. Click the button.
    4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
    5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
    6. This will open a new window File Upload.
    7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
    8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
    9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
    10. Close the window and then click Submit.
