    Help with Pivot filter macro

Hi I have a macro that runs 90% accurate

I have attached spreadsheet. Basically I have a data set and a pivot that gets filtered by department ID after I select which director manage them. The only problem is because vlookup only brings 1st result I can not get accurate data filtered if a director manage more than one store.

I have attached spreadsheet. Can anyone please help? I would really appreciate any help on this.

Re: Help with Pivot filter macro

Basically if a director manage 2 department then I want both department data copied into 2 different sheet. At the moment macro only copies 1.

Any help will be really appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I guess this will help. I have modified certain code and also added some formulas. However you need to take care of certain things like:
    1. Sort the Directors Names in Working tab so that Pivot tab shows correct number of Directors.
    2. Please create a Blank excel workbook with Name "extracted report" (exactly without quote) and with adequate sheet where the data will be Copied. In your code it was creating a new Workbook as "Book1" which is excel default name and might not be available all the time you run the macro.( I had lot of problem with that.)
    3. please setup you print page setup code.I don't know why it was showing an Error on my System. or else leave as it is if its working fine with you.

    Regards,
