Hi,

Thanks,
Contains data.
Try to an empty cell
=ISBLANK(A1) >>If A1 is one of the cells that gives you the error.

Hi,
there could be a number of reasons for this, the most common being that there is a misspelled formula in that cell. Check this link for more info:

Hi,
I am getting 'FALSE',if I apply isblank formula.
Thanks,
the cell has a formula in it so it can't be blank
Josie
if at first you don't succeed try doing it the way your wife told you to
This Means it has no value?
The column contains phone numbers in the other cells.
Thanks
select one of the cells-what is in the formula bar?
I did not get you.
Please provide steps.
Thanks
select one of the cells containing the #VALUE error and look at the formula bar. what does it say?
How do I go to formula bar?
Thanks
it should be visible at the top of the worksheet
I am seeing #NAME? in the formula bar.
Thanks
I think that if we continue on this, we'll get many many posts without result.
Pls, upload a sample workbook.
Hi,
Please find the file.
Thanks
that means someone most likely copy and pasted over the original formulas so you have nothing but error values. you can delete them
Ok I shell delete them.
But what is the problem if we copy and paste over the original formulas?
Give me one example.
I will try what error I would get If I do that?
Thanks
whatever the original formulas were, they were returning an error-either they were mistyped or they were udfs and macros were disabled for instance. when you copy and paste values you just end up with the returned error value
