Customizing rdbmerge to import csv files into a single worksheet delimited by comma

    Hi

I have Ron De Bruins code for merging all csv files in a folder. I can also record a macro that imports a single csv file to excel with text delimited by a comma. I have no idea how to put the two together so that text from merged csv files ends up in the correct columns. Any help on thos would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Re: Customizing rdbmerge to import csv files into a single worksheet delimited by comma

Thanks for your interest. Ok, I will explain. My csv files contain utf8 text. If I open the files in excel some text is displayed as gibberish. If I import the csv file using the text import wizard they are displayed properly. Ron Bruins merge add in merges all files in a folder but doesn't use the text import wizard. I am trying to use the merge tool to import multiple csv files using the import wizard. Thanks for your help.
