    conditional formatting and lookup table

Hi Everyone, I am having trouble making some VB code automatically update. I have cribbed the code but have to manually alter the reference numbers....which rather defeats the object. The spreadsheet is for a pick list in a small warehouse. Any help would be marvelous and much appreciated. Thanks

I can't make it work, the error is with me but I must be entering the code in the wrong place.

Re: conditional formatting and lookup table

Hi Guys, Confused of Derby still here but now more confused than ever. I want the warehouse staff to be able to enter a job number in column U2:U13 and all matching job numbers in the range B2:B20 to change to the colours given in column V2:V13. Is this possible ? I have a solution from tlafferty (many thanks), but I haven't been able to make it work. Many thanks

OK, I take it the lack of answers means I am on the wrong track and I need to rethink how to get the result I need. Thanks for looking.
