Filter and export to a new sheet based upon multiple criteria

Situation:
I need to create a macro that will filter cells based upon multiple criteria and export them to another sheet

Attempts:
I tried to use the record macro and made some headway until I ran into the criteria limit.
I searched the forums but was unable to find any vb or macro that I could get to work

Information:
Data is copy and pasted from the Lotus Notes Sametime Client into the first sheet
Rows could go as high as 4000
All data will be in Column A
Filter needs to occur for 5 different criteria (SD*, Component/Function*, Knowledge/Defect*, Issue*, Troubleshooting Performed*)
There may be empty rows when the data is pasted in

Additional:
I have attached a spreadsheet with examples of the data that will be inserted
