Macro to sort and subtotal current region

I need help creating a macro that does the following:

1. Select the current region based on the active cell.
2. Sort by state class, then acq date.
3. Subtotal the sum of the reported cost at each change in state class, then bold each subtotal and grand total.

The current region will include a first row header.

I have attached a sample file. I will have many of these groups of data on the same spreadsheet, and I am wanting to just run the macro to do it automatically.
