Re: Getting error while executing VBA Code

    Hi ,

I have asked one question on this forum but I am not getting reply for that. My question was is it possible to access COM ADD-IN having .dll extension via VBA. From commandbar objects also that is not fesieble according to me.

So I started to search my own and I got this code which is in VB , so I thought is it possible to execute this code in excel VBA.

Have you any Idea about this. How to access COM Add-In via VBA.

    Hi Sahil,

Code you have written is not for excel VBA.
Also, always keep code in tags as per forum rules.

Is there a reference to arcGis in references that allow you to add it to your VBA project?

@Kyle : I have no idea about arcGis. Can you tell how can I check that.

@haripopuri : I think you have not read my question properly, I am trying to ask is it possible to run this code in excel VBA. As I was geting error for that. So my question was related to excel VBA only.

Go to tools > references and the scroll through the list for any likely candidates. Put a Rick box next to then, then look through the object viewer to try and find the classes you are looking for
