excel as real time application.

Dear friends,
i would like to ask is there any possiblity of using excel as a real time application.
I mean excel should be accessed at multiple locations and the data should be saved from multiple locations.

You mean like a database?

If so, then no, not reliably, you'd be better off using a database. Maybe Access depending on the number of users you have, or maybe google docs?

From my vague memory, yes, but I do not think two users can work at the same time. MS is marketing the 365 cloud excel, but I doubt if this has the full version of excel functions.

Yes, but not the excel itself. All the clients can see real time data on their excel file being save by other users. You need to use database like MySQL,Oracle,MSSQL or Access depending on your preference.
