    Update link with macro

I have two workbooks. One workbook is called Records and this is where I input data. The other workbook is called Reports and this links to Records to calculate all the data. I input data in Records on my pda, which is why I use links (the pda cannot handle all the formulas needed in Reports). I have recently tried using my android phone using Documents to Go to open the Records workbook, but when I save the Records workbook the links no longer work. I have to open Records, save and close it for the links to work. Anyone know why this is or have a solution to this problem? Will a macro to update links work? Thanks for help.

    Bump.

What about a macro to open a workbook, save, and close everytime I open my Reports workbook?

    Bump.

I really didn't think this would be too difficult, but with no responses it sounds like it is. I think what is happening is my phone is saving the Records workbook differently and my Reports workbook does not recognize the file so the links are not updated. Once I open the Records workbook on my laptop the links work again. I'm thinking a macro in my Reports workbook that runs everytime I open it that will open the Records workbook, save, and close it will solve my problem. Anyone know how to do this?
