Cleaning up and condensing code to speed up process

    Good Morning,

I first want to state that my code works just fine and quite a bit is pieced together from posts here on this forum, so thank you. What I am trying to accomplish is an overall condensing of the attached code to speed up the process. What is attached is the form which associates fill out to either call from, add to, or modify previous entries in a database which is located on a seperated shared drive. The code I have written works like a dream, but seems bulky and the transfer of data back and forth from the shared drive to the form user (who houses the form on their pc which is unshared) can take a bit longer than i would like. The other reason I would like to clean this up, is because this form process is intended to become repeatable for other areas of the company. Since I have the basic process down, all i have to do is modify the forms questions for that particular business unit.

So if someone would like to help me out that would be great. If you choose to take on this task, all I ask is that you just explain to me what and why you changed and how it will make the proccess better. How it works wouldnt be bad either. This way I can learn too.

Thank you in advance and I am attaching a copy of the "Input Form" and a the database templet it calls info to and from. All the code is in the Input form workbook

    thanks again

    Hi -

I would suggest using database like MySQL, so it can be access by multiple users at the same time.

Unfortunately, I could not give help for the whole process as it takes more time to build unless other people are willing to do so.

I think you need to invest some bucks for this projects if you really want to achieve your goal.

    Regards,
    event

    Thanks,

Yea I would agree that this is probably not 100% the best way to roll, but for now it should be fine. I will investigate your suggestion however and see what happens. Still just want to learn more about making this current coding more efficient.

But I do appreciate the rapid response
