Copy column data by group/category, where the number of rows change

    Hi guys,
I have a doozie here. Im trying to Copy a list of data from a column where the categories are sorted by headings (in the same column). for example

    Domestic Equity
    Large Cap
    Acrux Ltd
    Ansell Ltd
    APA Group
    APN News & Media Ltd
    ASX Ltd
    Total Large Cap

I only need the data starting with Acrux, and ending with ASX. and the amount of rows/Securities changes regularly, and there are multiple categories in the column. This data is then pasted into another tab which holds a report for output...

I have attached a sample file, in which you will see i am trying to grab data in the AEBT tab, and copy it into the BALANCED tab, i have colour coded it so you can see which data goes where. this is a very cut down example, in actuality i will have about 8 source tabs and 20 destination tabs!
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! its been killing me for days!
    Cheers,
    Dave

    Hi David

At best your description of what you're trying to accomplish is confusing. You don't have an
    AEBT Tab
    and you're grabbing more than
I only need the data starting with Acrux, and ending with ASX
In addition, how does one know what data goes where...Column Headings don't match between Source and Balanced except for property and, in that Column, the Items don't match between Source and Balanced in your sample file.

You've got me confused...what are the relationships between the worksheets?

Apologies Jaslake for the confusion, and thanks for the reply,
Essentially the Source tab is an output from a system and dropped into the workbook. Unfortunatly i cant make the column headings 'match' with whats in 'balanced' as the Balanced tab is a report which gets uploaded to a website, the column headings have to stay as they are for external reporting. I suppose in summary im trying to reformat the source data so the website host can upload the securities listing, the balanced tab is their template..
Apologies re property confusion, they should match between source and balanced, as i mentioned ive just pulled together a basic example, my apologies for stuffing that up! when i have a solution for making the grab the final tool will have 3-5 source tabs and a bunch of 'balanced' style output tabs..
To know what data goes where i have just colour coded, its pretty much a case of me knowing that for expample "austalian shares" in balanced = 'Domestic equity large cap' in the source tab..
