    Email automation

    Hi guys,

Can someone please help me with my problem below:

I have folder where about 150 files are saved each week and I have to manually pick this file from folder and email them to list of people.

Can this be automated with help of a macro that can help me select the folder I want and email all the files (including the sub folder) which meets the criteria and email them to respect peoples? The file format which has the list of email and file name is attached.

How do you want to run this macro? by clicking on a button, on a cell with the name in column A.
Also the path is always like this? C:\DR + column A.pdf ? or what did you mean by sub folders?

no the path is different each week hence i have put the path name on C1. Which then look up the file name. So say c1 = C:\DR\ and file name start with ABC then it should pick the file and attach as long as the file name is there. so it will pick up file like ABC123, ABC1, ABC. all the files will be in PDF only.

the subfolder will be like C:\DR\subfolder1\abc.pdf.

i would like this as a button once.

the file attached does not run the macro...

    Re: Email automation

The file attached works once you click on cell A3 or A4
It.s made so it works when you click on the file name.

So if I understand you correctly you want the directory that is writen in cell C1 (C\DR\ in our case) searched through all the subfolders so it finds the documents containing the name like ABC.
You see....you've explaind it a bit differently in your first atempt. So this is something totaly different then what you said before.
