Merging 2 sheets based on a condition

Hi,
I have an excel file with 2 sheets.
The first sheet has multiple instances of variables(N1, N2 ) etc in the first column.
The second sheet has these variables N1,N2 etc only once in the first column.
I need to create a merged sheet of all the rows where the variables match in both sheets.
Is this possible? Any help appreciated!
I have attached a sample.

In Sheet1 cell C2 and copied over and down is this formula:
