Looking for Help on list display

Hi all,

Would really appreciate some help. I am looking to from a way to display only certain purchase contracts for my P&L from the dropdown list in cell B3. Basically different Purchase contract apply to different Sales contract. So when I select a sales contract from cell B3 I would like only certain selected purchase contracts to pop up with there contract number and quility. Any help would be really appreciated. Attached is the file. Is there a way to only display certain selected rown from the Purchase to show based on the sales contract I select.

Hi, Could you tell how the purchase contracts and sales contracts are linked?

I was planning on selecting them lets. say sales contract 1 can use purchase quality 1,3 and 5. And Sales contract 2 can use 1 ,2 and 6. Just looking to see how can they just display on the purchases that apply to that sale.

May be you can try vba to hide the rows containing other purchase quality.

Mike really appreciate it. I put in the code it works well. But is there a way to show 2,3 or more purchase conracts that apply to that sales contract?? attached what I'm trying to say under the purchase tab below. Thanks again for your help.

Sorry, but Im lost? Where are you going to select the values to filter on? The drop down on the P&L sheet ?

Sorry. Let me try to explain better. Really all I need is to select from the drop down under sales contract and then only show the purchase contracts that apply to that sales contract. So for example under sales contract 1 We can only sell them products from company 1,2 and 5 and for sales contract 2 we can sell them products from company 1,2 and 6. So In the end I just want to be able to see the rows from the purchase sheet that apply to the sales contract selected. Again I really appreciate your assistance.

How do we determine that Sales Contract 1 applies to company 1,2 and 5 and Sales Contract 2 applies to company 1,2 and 6, or am I missing something?
