    Question Macro to open "edit query".

    Hello everyone,

    This is my first post so hopefully it goes well!

    I am trying to work out how to have a macro automate the process of:

    Toolbar -> DATA

    Data -> CONNECTIONS

    Workbook Connections -> select "PROPERTIES... " side tab for a specific connection (always the same one)

    Connection Properties -> select "DEFINITION" tab

    Definition -> select "EDIT QUERY" tab at the bottom.

    It's a long process that I keep having to repeat and am really struggling to find a way to speed it up.

    Thank you for any ideas.

    Try this

    If you link this to a shortcut key, you should get a very rapid route to the edit query screen.
