Pop Up to select the range and past to another sheet.
Hello,
i have to work on excel file, which i got in differnt different format.
I have to select only few cells and paste that cells into new files with some formating and distribut that data to employees.
can we have a macro to select the range as per my need, because the data my vary....

you could use learn/record mode to help you with this, if the file you are copying to will be the same every time.
an alternative would be to set up the other file/s to reference your "master" file and automatically pull in the data you want.

I tried to record the macro for the same.
but the data vary from columns to column in the files which i got through email.
For Eg.
PPID last nam first name EMPID Status
123456 him him 5646 complte
568974 goyal goyal 5649 not comp
12546 maky maky 5689 complte
45886 dame dame 4578 not comp
365248 flaok flaok 2541 complte
1325843 tyag tyag 3652 complte
this is the data which comes under different different format, by changing the names of header,
i am looking for a macro which prompt me to choose the columns which i required and paste that selection to the new file.
