Append data from row of one workbook to row from another workbook

Hi,

I have 2 workbooks each with 1 sheet.

The commonality between these 2 workbooks is that each row has a unique identifier.
I would like Excel to append the data from one row to that of the other if the identifier matches.
I also would like to be able to say from which date onwards it should try to match identifiers so that it doesn't overwirte old ones.

Appended data should be added into the correct row in column CT onwards.

It would also be great that if in workbook2 the identifier was named "U", a new row would be created in workbook1 that started in CT with that information.
