Macro will run when I hit f5 in VB, but will not run from excel

The macro I created will run when I open the module in VB and click f5, so I know the coding is accurate. The problem is when I go to the alt+f8 screen in excel and highlight the macro, none of the options are available to click (Run, Step Into, Edit, Delete...). The assigned hot key will not execute the macro either. Note: I created the macro on my PERSONAL.XLSB.

Please assist.
