Copying a value given in an input message box, onto a cell

Whats the method to copy-paste a value given using an input message box , onto a cell in the SAME excel sheet.

Eg.

• I have a macro that runs and asks for an user input.
• When given , i want this user input to be copy pasted onto a cell.

Any help will be much appreciated.
