Conditional copy/merge of rows into single row

Hi, my problem is about conditional merge of row contents written in text. I have data as follows -
    col1 col2
    SHC Asta
    SHC sona
    SHC pola
    SHC ropur
    PHC diga
    PHC amota
    PHC silwad
    PHC rampur

I want to have above data as below -
    col1 col2
    SHC Asta, sona, pola, ropur
    PHC diga, amota, silwad, rampur

    Thanks in advance.

As per forum rules, your post was moved to a thread of its own.

    MERGE ROWS
Here's a macro for merging rows of data using the ID in column A and putting the column B values together in a delimited manner of your choosing. There's a sample file as well for testing.

There's a sample workbook too you could drop your data into and test it out.

    'COLUMNS TO ROWS
Here's another macro for merging columns of data to one row matching for column A. There's a sample workbook too you could drop your data into and test it out.
