    Text Userform + Font

    Hello

Is there a way in Excel to have a Userform "Text" which allow to personalize the font.

    In other words.
When entering a text in the "Userform Text", to have the possibility to Underline / Bold / Italic .. your text.
Like what can be done in a Excel cell

    "Userform Text + Rich text"

The information that I will enter in the Usefrom Text, will then be saved in a cell.

    Thanks for help

I'd say no, well not easily anyway, there may be a rich text box installed on some machines, but it is a vb6 control rather than excel, so users may not have it installed. I seem to think that ms may have disabled it for excel as there were problems with it.

Does "DHTMLedit" could help for that ?

It seems that this userform reacts with "Ctrl-b", "Ctrl-i",

But I don't show how to change the Font - Font color

Unfortunately I honestly don't think you're going to be able to do it. Having had a google, that control won't be available on everyones machine and it's designed for editing html so I doubt that it would either be easy to use or reliable

Why do you need rich text editing in a userform? If you give us a bit of back ground there may be a workaround

    Re: Text Userform + Font

    Ok, will try to explain

I have a lot of cases "issues for customer" to follow. For that I use Excel: Different column for
    • "Action to do"
    • "What has been done"
    • ...

These information are formatted in the Excel Cells (Bold/Italic/Color..) end are formatted manually in each cell (Not always easy to format that in a cell all the more that the text can be wide...)
Now I wanted to use a User form Interface (See image bellow) allowing to scroll under my different cases, with the possibility of a rich text.
(The Information that I will enter in this Userform Interface will then be saved in Cells)

Objective of that : is to generate a "Formatted" mail to the different customers

    Sorry to bother you
but could somebody explain me if there is a possibility which could answer my quest.

It is difficult to understand that I'm the only who already asked to have the possibility of rich text in a userform

    Many many thanks in advance
