Need a new keystroke or macro that will do the same

I have documents for inventory where i have to auto sum column H and I so i can see my Total in J so i know my total amount of bottles (column) per type (row). Any ways to make things faster im trying to keystroke for auto sum which is ALT+ = but the ALT and = are to far apart to do with one hand and i cannot seem to figure out how to change the keystroke to ALT+ anything because i need on hand keystroking and my other hand on the mouse.

I have taught myself everything i know about Excel and i can't figure this out. Plz help!

either macro or keystroke should do the job.

You get better help if you post an Excel-example of your workbook, without confidential information.
Make sure the workbook demonstrates your desired results if possible, or just highlight the cells you're trying to fix.
Use BEFORE/AFTER sheets if that helps make it clearer.
Notice my main language is not English.

I appreciate it, if you reply on my solution.

Elleira2, I just posted on how to create a AutoSUBTOTAL macro, and you can name it whatever you want. I based it off an earlier post which showed how to replicate the Alt + = function with a macro, so either should work for you. Good luck!

You can reassign shortcut keys. See microsoft help page linked above.
