Apologies if this has been asked, but i could not find an answer to this question.
I have a spreadsheet which has one field which is a projectID field, this same field is in a few other spreadsheets and I would like to look at linking them somewhat, so that when i click on a field, it will take me to another spreadsheet where it has looked up / filtered all entries for that field i clicked on.

I can create hyperlinks etc, but i was wondering what the best way would be to create a hyperlink when each of the fields changes, essentially i am fixed in using Excel as that is the system of choice (not my choice), but i was wondering how i can automatically have the link generated to link to another spreadsheet to be able to view additional information.

I.e.

Spreadsheet 1 contains the following fields:

JobID | Client | Description | Cost | Category etc

JobID becomes hyperlinked to spreadsheet 2 which contains

JobID | SampleID | Description | Test | Test Requirements

Then when JobID on spreadsheet 1 is clicked, it opens up Spreadsheet 2 with the JobID that was in Spreadsheet 1 filtered.
