    Data Validation

I'm using data validation for 177 cells. When I pull the drop down list, I want to see one range, but have an offset cell returned from the actual value picked.

I'm sure you experienced vba guys are going to tell me to use the control boxes, but does it make sense to have 177 of them? They don't fit nice and neat in a cell simply like the data validation option. I'm open to suggestions that's for sure!

I've included a sample file with two tabs. I want to view column H, but return the adjacent value in column E when the selection is made.

    Re: Data Validation

Sorry but I don't understand what you really want. I see in Data tab that you are merging column E and column J in column H cells but I don't see what data validation does in this.
