How to overcome Application.Caller 30 character limit

Hi,
I need to know the name of the shape from which a procedure was started.
I have been using

Application.Caller

Recently I discovered that it will only retrieve the first 30 characters of the shape name.
Is there any other function/API that can be used to retrieve the whole name of the shape regardless of the size?
