    Grouping option buttons

I have a user form in which I am using option buttons to decide two things. The first row of 3 buttons is used to determine if an item is "red", "green" or "yellow".
Then I have a second row of three option buttons to determine the items status; if the item is "in-use", "assembled" or "in-kit".
The problem is that I need to select a color and a status, but the form only allows one option button to be selected in the form at a time...
Is there a way to group the buttons in two sets of three, and have 1 button from each group of three selected at one time? I would have used check boxes but that would allow the user to select more than one color and more than one status, which would be incorrect.
