I used to have a button in my quick access toolbar and when IT upgraded me to 2010 I lost it.
There was actually 2 buttons.
1) if I have a column or columns selected it would delete those columns and shift left. If I had a row or rows selected then it would delete those rows and shift up.
2) this 2nd button was exactly the opposite. if a row was selected, it would insert another row above it. if a column was selected it would insert a column next to it.
Very simple stuff. I thought it would be in my personal.xlsb file, but I couldnt find it. I couldnt find anything that matches in the "all commands" list either.
Does anyone have some code that matches my description or know of a function in excel that already exists?
Did I write that code 8 years ago and completely forget what it was?
