Need help for create a macro to auto insert date time after entry

Hi there, just join this forum (And also new to excel macro), hope can find the answer of my question. I want to create a macro code for auto insert date time after input data to a cell, then the cell should lock to prevent anyone want to change the date time. Is it possible to do that? Has been looking for a long time.
